The history of Joya del Mar, Loreto bay Baja, has been passed down through many generations. Our walls are filled with family legends; butlers who have followed in the footsteps of their fathers and grandfathers, and guests who have come here to hide for years. We try to inspire everyone who steps inside our doors by keeping our hands on our hearts at all times. Historical enthusiasts may take a guided visit of the “mother of the missions,” Mision de Loreto, which was California’s first mission and is now part of UNESCO World Heritage Sites’ protected waters Loreto and Islands teeming with fish, colorful, thriving sea life residents take pride in their lovely town. Our community takes responsibility for this magnificent location. By sorting recyclables and placing them inconveniently located bins, visitors may participate.
